Job Description
Now hiring Sign Language Interpreters for full-time positions in a school settings throughout Georgia. These positions require serving students 1:1 or in general classroom settings and require strong communication and interpreting skills to support educational accessibility.
Key Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- GaPSC certification
- Proven experience interpreting in K-12 educational environments
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation to support students 1:1 or in a general classroom setting
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and educational personnel
- Attend necessary meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Travel between designated school locations as needed to fulfill job duties
