Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA score required
• Valid GAPSC credential for interpreting
• Proven experience interpreting in educational environments preferred
• Strong American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency and clear, professional communication skills
• Adaptability to work across a range of ages and academic subjects
• Detail-oriented and able to adhere to the standards and confidentiality required during testing scenarios

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate sign language interpretation for students during district-wide testing
• Support comprehension and engagement for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring access to instructions and test materials
• Collaborate with educational staff, administrators, and other interpreters as needed
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
• Adapt to various assignments and age groups as scheduled
