Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences (required for SLP positions)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY), and SLPA certification all welcomed
- Previous experience in school-based or healthcare settings advantageous
- Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Consult and coach classroom staff to support generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making processes
