Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, if applicable
- Experience with school-based or teletherapy services is strongly preferred
- SLPA candidates must be licensed or certified according to state regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a diverse range of needs and work effectively in a team setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students for speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct individual or group therapy sessions on-site or via teletherapy
- Collaborate with teaching staff, other specialists, and families to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
