Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, if applicable
  • Experience with school-based or teletherapy services is strongly preferred
  • SLPA candidates must be licensed or certified according to state regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a diverse range of needs and work effectively in a team setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students for speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct individual or group therapy sessions on-site or via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, other specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and compliance requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
