Make a meaningful impact in elementary education as a part-time School Psychologist in a welcoming community near Zeeland, MI. This contract opportunity provides the chance to support young learners, collaborate with faculty, and contribute to a positive school environment just 16 hours per week. Working in an elementary setting, youll provide vital psychological services, assisting students in overcoming challenges and ensuring that they develop the academic, social, and emotional skills needed for success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan
- Experience providing psychological assessment and intervention in elementary settings
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing intervention plans, and working with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication abilities to partner effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- A passion for advocating for students and fostering inclusivity
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and help implement intervention strategies that promote student well-being and academic achievement
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive, individualized plans
- Provide direct support and counseling to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in IEP and other team meetings, offering professional recommendations for student services
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with district and state requirements
