Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Active Michigan School Psychologist licensure
  • Proven experience working within elementary, middle, or high school environments
  • Strong knowledge of testing procedures, assessment tools, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to a variety of student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to students, including counseling and intervention strategies
  • Work with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies and support plans for academic and behavioral success
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives that promote mental wellness and a positive school climate
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies and procedures
