Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid Louisiana School Psychologist license
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of social-emotional development and behavioral interventions
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to support student learning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective IEPs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address a range of student concerns
  • Consult with teachers and administrators regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support as required
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, parent conferences, and district professional development
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
