Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid Louisiana school psychologist license
  • Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school level
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and stakeholders

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students across grade levels
  • Develop evidence-based intervention plans in coordination with school staff and families
  • Provide support and counseling to students individually or in groups to address behavioral, emotional, or social concerns
  • Participate actively in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Deliver professional development and consultation to school staff on student support strategies
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and comply with all ethical and state regulations
