A rewarding opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Yonkers, NY. This contract position offers the chance to work directly with students, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to provide essential psychological services that contribute to student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological assessments for K-12 students to inform educational planning
- Participate actively in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, providing expert insight and recommendations
- Manage a flexible caseload that may change based on the evolving needs of each school location
- Collaborate effectively with educators, counselors, specialists, and administrative staff to support student learning and development
- Travel between multiple schools as required to fulfill responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree and licensure credentials relevant to school psychology
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and prioritize responsibilities accordingly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for successful collaboration across teams
- Enthusiasm for working with students of all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade
