Make a meaningful impact supporting students and school communities as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is located in Rhode Island and offers either part-time or full-time scheduling, aligning with the 2026-2027 school calendar (start and end dates are tentative and will follow the finalized calendar). School Psychologists will work in an in-person setting, providing expertise and dedicated support for student learning, behavior, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must meet all Rhode Island state requirements for School Psychologists, including current, active licensure.
• Previous experience in educational settings strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success.
• Strong communication and evaluation skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments.
• Provide counseling services to students as indicated in their IEPs or as needed.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support individualized learning plans and behavioral interventions.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
• Adapt to varying caseloads per school needs; specific details to be discussed during the interview process.
