Working 37.5 hours each week alongside a collaborative educational team, youll help shape positive student outcomes and foster a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to guide student support plans
  • Perform assessments to determine special education eligibility
  • Analyze and interpret testing results, preparing thorough, actionable written reports
  • Actively participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and discussions with parents
  • Partner with teachers, special education professionals, and administrators for holistic student support
  • Assist in the development of behavior intervention plans and other student services
  • Ensure timely and compliant documentation in all areas of responsibility

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
  • Preferred background in school-based settings
  • Experience working with psychoeducational evaluations, IEP processes, and eligibility determinations
