Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is valued
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations, participating in IEPs, and eligibility determination
  • Excellent written communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to interpret assessment data and present findings effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to identify student needs
  • Perform comprehensive assessments for special education eligibility
  • Accurately interpret test results and author clear, actionable written reports
  • Actively participate in IEP, eligibility, and parent meetings, collaborating effectively with all stakeholders
  • Work with teachers, special education personnel, and administrators to develop and implement student interventions
  • Support behavior intervention planning and a range of student services
  • Ensure documentation meets compliance standards and adheres to required timelines
