Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students growth and well-being in a school-based role designed for a dedicated School Psychologist. This contract opportunity focuses primarily on pre-K through 2nd grade, with support occasionally required at the high school level within a vibrant district of approximately 2,800 students. Youll work primarily onsite at a single campus, collaborating with educators and staff in an engaging, student-centered culture.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Tennessee School Psychologist license
  • Experience working with early childhood and adolescent age groups preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students in pre-K to 2nd grade, with limited high school responsibilities
  • Provide recommendations for interventions, supports, and services tailored to individual student needs
  • Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
  • Support district initiatives to promote positive learning environments
