Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school psychologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This position offers the unique chance to work onsite with a dynamic educational teamhelping students thrive and succeed from elementary through high school. Youll travel between sites as an itinerant psychologist, responding to student needs across a variety of locations.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure and credentials as a School Psychologist (PSYCH)
- Experience performing re-evaluations and supporting K-12 special education programs
- Skilled in assessment, consultation, intervention, and report writing for a diverse student population
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective interventions
- Consult on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assist with eligibility determinations
- Advocate for student mental health and academic well-being
- Travel between schools as part of the itinerant team, providing comprehensive services where they are needed most
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
