Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience delivering psychological assessments and interventions in K-12 school environments
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP processes, and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with staff, students, and guardians
  • Ability to develop rapport with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services aimed at boosting student well-being and success
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic or behavioral difficulties
  • Contribute to crisis response and prevention initiatives within the school community
  • Maintain thorough documentation and uphold ethical and confidentiality standards at all times
