Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Masters degree or higher in school psychology or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of special education regulations and processes
- Experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and counseling skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards
- Previous experience in school or educational settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
- Provide direct counseling and support to students
- Recommend and help implement accommodations and modifications
- Maintain well-documented records in line with compliance standards
- Promote positive behavior supports and mental health awareness within the school community
