Step into a rewarding travel contract opportunity supporting elementary, middle, and high school students for the 20262027 academic year. This full-time assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, engaging you Monday through Friday, 37 to 40 hours a week. Located in the vibrant Winnetka area, youll partner with a diverse student population, making a lasting impact across multiple grade levels.
Your primary focus will be conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments, with occasional initial evaluations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping students access the resources they need for academic and personal success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active Illinois state license as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Proficiency in conducting eligibility meetings, re-evaluations, and functional behavioral assessments
- Familiarity with initial evaluation procedures in a school setting
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, faculty, and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive re-evaluations and assessment reviews for students
- Lead and participate in eligibility determination meetings
- Complete functional behavioral assessments and create intervention recommendations
- Perform initial evaluations as needed
- Document findings and progress in accordance with district policies
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans
This is an on-site position; teletherapy/voco services are not permitted for this assignment due to union requirements.
