Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Winchester, VA. As a School Psychologist, youll collaborate with educators, families, and school leaders to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours weekly, starting July 27th, 2026, and concluding May 28th, 2027.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current and active Virginia Psychologist License is required
• Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of assessment techniques, multi-tiered systems of support, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services
• Participate in student support teams, IEP meetings, and eligibility processes
• Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services for students to address academic, behavioral, and mental health needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and implement strategies for student success
• Offer prevention, crisis response, and consultation services throughout the school community
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation for all services rendered
