Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or license in the state
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration
- Capacity to adapt assessment and intervention strategies to diverse student needs
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and prepare reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student achievement and wellbeing
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insights on student learning and behavior
- Support crisis intervention and response as needed
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards
