Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required)
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations, spanning preschool through high school
  • Demonstrated skill in performing psychoeducational evaluations and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Active participation in IEP meetings and the development of student support plans
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle a varied caseload across multiple school sites
  • Reliable transportation to travel between school locations as needed
  • Willingness and ability to complete required fingerprinting upon hire

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs in academic, behavioral, and emotional areas
  • Produce clear, actionable evaluation reports for educators and families
  • Collaborate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing psychological expertise during IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and support staff to design and implement effective interventions
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate
  • Adapt strategies and services to support students from early childhood through adolescence

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and a professional environment focused on student success.
