Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students academic and emotional needs as a School Psychologist in a contract position near Wichita, KS. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education processes
  • Strong consultation and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for behavioral and academic challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings to develop goals and recommendations
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
  • Design and implement interventions for individuals and groups, supporting both prevention and crisis response
  • Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
