Make a meaningful impact supporting students academic and emotional needs as a School Psychologist in a contract position near Wichita, KS. In this dynamic educational setting, youll work alongside educators and families to foster positive student outcomes and create inclusive learning environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and report writing
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and special education processes
- Strong consultation and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for behavioral and academic challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to develop goals and recommendations
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
- Design and implement interventions for individuals and groups, supporting both prevention and crisis response
- Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
