Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Comfort developing and implementing intervention strategies
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for students
- Interpret results and provide actionable recommendations for educators and parents
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate on 504 plans
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support when needed
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote positive learning environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights
- Maintain timely documentation and confidentiality
