Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting young learners as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role serves elementary students, beginning August 24, 2026 and continuing through June 4, 2027. The position is based onsite, with full-time hours, but qualified part-time applicants will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active, valid Michigan School Psychologist license
  • Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in supporting students
  • Comfortable providing services to elementary-age children in a collaborative educational setting
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work onsite as required

Major Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive outcomes
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, including individual and group counseling
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the planning of student supports
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
  • Serve as a valuable resource, offering guidance on social, behavioral, and emotional issues affecting learning
