Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active school psychologist licensure and certification for Connecticut (CT) required
- Previous experience working in a school or district setting
- Proficient in evaluation administration processes and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable participating in a virtual (Zoom) interview as part of the hiring process
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments, interpret data, and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports for students
- Participate actively in PPT meetings, collaborating with educators and other specialists to develop student-centered plans and recommendations
- Deliver psychological services aligned with best practices and state guidelines
- Support students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs through direct intervention and consultation
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all protocols and timelines
