Make a meaningful impact supporting students by providing essential school psychology services in a dynamic, urban educational environment near West Chester, PA. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated middle school community, conducting evaluations, assessments, and occasional out-of-district assessments as needed. You'll play a vital role in supporting students academic and emotional growth, working alongside educators and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania school psychologist certification or licensure required
- Proven school-based experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required PA clearances
- Experience in urban school settings strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for onsite work
- Comfortable with in-person, 5-day onsite requirement (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, 35 hours/week)
- Capacity to manage both school and out-of-district evaluation caseloads as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Support IEP processes by participating in team meetings and providing data-driven recommendations
- Perform occasional out-of-district (OOD) evaluations and provide overflow support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage effectively with a diverse student population and contribute to a positive school climate
