Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid NC School Psychologist License
- Previous experience within school settings preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational testing and assessments
- Able to handle various counseling needs and develop effective behavioral interventions
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable managing a diverse K-12 caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including assessments and standardized testing
- Provide occasional individual and group counseling to support students emotional health
- Develop evidence-based strategies and interventions for academic and behavioral success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design educational plans
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP/504 meetings
