Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina School Psychologist License is required
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with conducting psychological testing, evaluations, and counseling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students
- Provide direct counseling support as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Participate in student support and intervention meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff to promote positive learning environments and student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
