Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students cognitive, academic, and social-emotional strengths and needs
- Develop and participate in the implementation of IEPs in partnership with educators and families
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to recommend interventions and accommodations
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
- Document services and maintain confidential student records in compliance with all regulatory requirements
