Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience in a school or educational setting strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students cognitive, academic, and social-emotional strengths and needs
  • Develop and participate in the implementation of IEPs in partnership with educators and families
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students emotional wellbeing
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to recommend interventions and accommodations
  • Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
  • Document services and maintain confidential student records in compliance with all regulatory requirements
