Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid IL PEL in School Psychology required
  • Strong understanding of K-8 student development
  • Previous experience performing counseling and comprehensive assessments in a school setting
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling services to K-8 students to support emotional well-being and academic achievement
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to develop and implement interventions tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Consult with staff regarding behavioral and classroom management strategies
