Job Description

This contract opportunity spans the academic year, beginning August 26, 2026, and ending June 11, 2027, with a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 3740 hours per week. The role requires a licensed School Psychologist in the State of Illinois ready to support elementary, middle, and high school students.

In this dynamic role, youll primarily focus on re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments across a diverse caseload. There will also be opportunities for some initial evaluations, providing variety and professional growth. Additional details about the caseload and expectations will be shared during the interview.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license in Illinois
  • Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Proven ability to perform re-evaluations, eligibility assessments, and functional behavioral assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented and organized to manage documentation and case records efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive re-evaluation and initial evaluation meetings
  • Perform functional behavioral assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to best support student needs
  • Participate actively in eligibility determination processes
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school district and state guidelines
