A full-time school psychologist position is available in Waukegan, IL, for a licensed professional with a PEL (Professional Educator License) in Illinois. This role supports K-8 students, primarily providing psychological services to help address learning, behavioral, and emotional needs within a school setting. Candidates must be licensed and available to work onsite as this is not a remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for K-8 students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing appropriate educational plans
• Provide counseling and support services to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with school and state regulations
• Support students academic achievements and overall well-being by delivering targeted psychological services

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) for School Psychology
• Experience working with K-8 student populations
• Bilingual skills are a strong advantage but not required
• Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, onsite in Waukegan, IL
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
• Familiarity with school-based psychological services and related legal requirements
