This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist or Diagnostician passionate about supporting students academic and behavioral success. With a caseload averaging 30-40 evaluations, youll work across multiple school sites, serving diverse student populations, and collaborating closely with educators and families. The role offers stability, as it extends through late May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
• Current New Mexico PED School Psychologist License required
• Experience conducting student assessments and developing intervention strategies
• Comfortable traveling between schools within the district
• Demonstrated ability to consult with teachers, families, and administrators
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
• Interpret test results, prepare written reports, and present findings to IEP teams
• Develop recommendations to support student growth and wellbeing
• Provide consultative services to teachers and families to improve student outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary team and IEP meetings as required
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Travel between district schools as needed
