Job Description

Make an impact supporting students well-being and success as a School Psychologist for the 2026-27 academic year. This full-time, in-person contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with dedicated education professionals in a vibrant school community located near Waterbury, VT. As a valued psychological services provider, youll be instrumental in delivering comprehensive assessment, consultation, and intervention services tailored to diverse student needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist credentials meeting all state requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting data
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ethical, in-person practice for the duration of the contract

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to support student learning and social-emotional development
  • Participate actively in problem-solving and IEP team meetings
  • Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding student needs and evidence-based interventions

This assignment runs from August 28, 2026, through June 18, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview process to best match your skills and interests with student needs.
