Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting by providing critical psychological services to students. This full-time, onsite position is a contract role at a vibrant middle school, and offers the chance to support student well-being and success alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Connecticut licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience in a school setting, preferably at the middle school level
  • Expertise in evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative problem-solving
  • Ability to begin as soon as possible and remain available through March 30, 2027
  • Willingness to work onsite, providing services directly to students and staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to support student learning and emotional needs
  • Participate in the PPT process, preparing and delivering comprehensive reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Provide direct consultation and support to students, educators, and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation while adhering to ethical and professional standards

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • One available opening
  • Onsite at a dynamic middle school environment
  • Initial interviews are conducted via Zoom for a streamlined process
