Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with student assessments, IEP development, and data-driven interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers and families
- Up-to-date knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Ability to adapt and support diverse student populations and varying grade levels
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student wellbeing and achievement
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Advocate for services and accommodations that best serve each students needs
