This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic school district based in Washington, PA. The role requires flexibility as caseloads may shift in response to evolving student needs across multiple school locations. This position involves direct interaction with students, families, and educators to provide psychological assessments, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate closely with diverse teams to promote student success in an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities include conducting in-person assessments, contributing valuable insights during IEP meetings, and supporting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development of students across various grade levels. The role requires travel between schools to effectively manage responsibilities and build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Eligibility for state certification as a School Psychologist
- Ability to manage a flexible K-12 caseload with changing demands
- Strong skills in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Experience or willingness to engage in collaborative team environments
- Effective communication skills for working with students, parents, educators, and administrators
