Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification in Rhode Island (RI)
- Previous experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and supportive educational environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) through participation in meetings and goal development
- Promote positive behavioral supports and foster safe, inclusive school climates
