Now is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a school psychologist providing valuable support to elementary and middle school children. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite in a collaborative and supportive educational environment near Warwick, GA. You'll help guide a caseload of approximately 45 to 50 students, supporting their educational and emotional growth during critical school years.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Georgia license as a school psychologist
- Previous experience within a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), assessments, and intervention strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and students
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services for elementary and middle school students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral strategies, and support plans
- Provide counseling, consultation, and education for students, families, and staff
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and participate in relevant meetings
