A school district in Warren, MI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support both elementary and high school students. This contract position requires a dedicated professional to provide psychological services aimed at enhancing student development and academic success across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in elementary and high school settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students to address academic, social, and emotional challenges
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute psychological expertise
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary and high school students
- Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessment tools
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
