Requirements & Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current School Psychologist license for the state
- Experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct evaluations, provide counseling, and develop intervention plans
- Experience working with diverse student populations across a range of age groups
- Knowledge of legal and ethical practices in school psychology
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for services
- Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for educational programming
- Develop individualized support and intervention plans in collaboration with school staff and families
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
