Job Description

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience in schools or educational settings strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), special education processes, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to culturally responsive practices and supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
  • Facilitate eligibility and re-evaluation meetings, contributing professional insight to IEP development
  • Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and support for students mental health needs
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve student outcomes
  • Support school-wide initiatives that foster safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments
  • Maintain timely documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
