Job Description

Seeking passionate, experienced School Psychologists for a contract opportunity for the 20262027 school year. Step into a dynamic role supporting students mental health and educational development in a welcoming, collaborative environment. This opportunity is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week, and requires onsite presence for the duration: August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027. Youll join a team of dedicated professionals assigned to 12 buildings within a supportive district structure.

In this vital position, you'll engage far beyond testinghelping educators and families understand student needs, developing individualized intervention plans, and leading mental health initiatives. The ideal candidate brings not only strong assessment skills, but a drive to partner with others and make a whole-school impact.

Qualifications:

  • Hold (or be willing to promptly obtain) Michigan School Psychologist Certification; travelers welcome if ready to secure MI licensure prior to the start date
  • Previous school psychology experience preferred
  • Demonstrated strength in assessment, intervention, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educators, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments and contribute to Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
  • Participate in individual education planning and provide crisis response when needed
  • Support mental health initiatives and promote a safe, positive school climate
  • Engage in both traditional and innovative school psychologist duties beyond evaluations
