Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current School Psychologist certification (Illinois)
• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting data
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive support

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer psychological and academic assessments for students in need of evaluation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
• Support a positive school climate through consultation, counseling, and evidence-based practices
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
• Document services, recommendations, and evaluations according to district and legal guidelines
• Advocate for student well-being and promote mental health awareness within the school setting
