Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support student achievement and well-being in a dynamic school environment located in Vero Beach, Florida. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive psychological services that foster academic success and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and learning challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and behavior supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to address student concerns and promote positive outcomes
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Florida Department of Health (DOH) License in School Psychology
  • Experience working within a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to conduct various psychological assessments and interpret results accurately
