Step into a vital contract opportunity as a School Psychologist on the scenic Southeast Florida Coast. This assignment runs from August 5th, 2026, through June 1st, 2027, where youll work full-time (35 hours per week) across three dynamic campuses. Your expertise will nurture students well-being through meetings, evaluations, and counseling sessions, supporting both Pre-K and K-8 populations. This is an on-site-only role with a district known for its efficient hiring processperfect for those eager to make an immediate impact.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Florida Psychology license issued by the Department of Health (DOH)
- Experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings
- Ability to serve a diverse caseload across multiple campuses
- Fingerprinting required (with potential to expedite through DOH records)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret evaluation results
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with educational staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Support crisis intervention and promote a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
