Job Description

Make a significant impact supporting students and educators in a collaborative school environment as a skilled School Psychologist. In this on-site contract position, you'll work closely with a dedicated team of three Special Education teachers, providing essential psychological services and ensuring a positive atmosphere for all learners.

Bring your expertise to a dynamic educational setting, where your insights and interventions will help shape supportive strategies, guide IEP development, and promote student well-being. You will play a vital role in advocating for students academic, social, and emotional success while supporting staff and families.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to determine individual student needs
  • Collaborate with SPED teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support IEP goals
  • Offer counseling and interventions for students, both individually and in groups
  • Consult with educators and parents on behavioral management and learning strategies
  • Lead or participate in meetings, student assessments, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Help cultivate a positive and inclusive school climate

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona School Psychologist license
  • Experience providing psychological services in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and inclusive practices
  • Ability to work onsite 37.5 hours per week within a structured school schedule
