Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility for state credential)
  • Previous experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, particularly with preschool or early childhood populations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, report-writing, and interpretation of results
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating findings with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable consulting and collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff
  • Ability to work independently while managing timelines and caseload requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret a range of standardized and informal assessments for eligibility and program planning
  • Focus on preschool assessments while also being available to assist district-wide as needed
  • Prepare clear, concise evaluation reports and present results at IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans and interventions
  • Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams, offering strategies that enhance student well-being and success
