Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in South Carolina (School Psych II required)
  • Proven experience conducting evaluations and assessments within a K-12 setting
  • Strong knowledge of education laws, FAPE, IEP process, and special education best practices
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and educational assessments for students as needed
  • Analyze assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participate in eligibility and placement meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student support
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families, addressing behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to state and federal guidelines
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and recommend evidence-based strategies for improved student outcomes
