Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results for students, making recommendations for interventions and supports
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop student-centered strategies that address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Provide crisis intervention, individual, and group counseling as needed
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and monitoring of educational goals
  • Offer professional guidance to school teams on student development, learning strategies, and behavioral interventions
  • Promote safe, inclusive, and constructive school climates
