Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Minnesota licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with special education regulations
- Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability and commitment to culturally responsive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments, interpreting data to inform educational planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students receiving services
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain detailed and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical guidelines
- Participate in meetings, staff development, and training sessions
