Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Minnesota licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments, interpreting data to inform educational planning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students receiving services
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, staff development, and training sessions
