Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- Strong understanding of IEP development and special education processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Previous experience within a K-12 setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to guide interventions
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Offer direct counseling and interventions to students
- Implement evidence-based strategies for academic and behavioral challenges
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
