A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide vital support within schools in Tucson, AZ. This travel position involves working onsite with a focus on special education, helping to create a positive and supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with three special education teachers to assess and support students with diverse needs
- Conduct psychological evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide behavioral interventions and consultations to improve student outcomes
- Support the overall school environment by promoting mental health and well-being among students and staff
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona School Psychologist license (AZ PSYCH License) required
- Experience working with special education populations in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators
- Commitment to supporting a positive, inclusive school climate
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Tucson, Arizona
- Onsite role requiring collaboration within the school community
- 37.5 hours per week, full-time schedule
