Job Description
A school psychologist position is available for the 26/27 school year in Tucson, AZ. This onsite contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with students impacted by Autism, providing essential psychological services within a school setting. Hours per week may vary depending on the assigned school site, allowing for some flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations tailored to students with Autism.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to enhance student well-being and academic success.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Psychologist (PSYCH) License.
- IVP fingerprint clearance card.
- Experience working with students affected by Autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Ability to work onsite within the Tucson area.
