Job Description
Seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support a dynamic school environment in Tucson, AZ. This contract position involves working closely with special education teachers to provide comprehensive psychological services that enhance student outcomes and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with three special education teachers to assess and address student needs
- Conduct psychological evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide interventions and counseling to support students academic and emotional well-being
- Consult with staff and families to promote positive behavioral and learning strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Psychologist License required
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment procedures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Work Details:
- Onsite position located in Tucson, AZ
- 37.5 hours per week
