Step into a fulfilling role supporting students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers part-time hours, perfect for a balanced work-life schedule, with workdays on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Youll work closely with a small, focused group14 students with individualized education programs (IEPs)providing essential support through evaluations and re-evaluations.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a school setting, especially with IEP processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments and documenting results
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Detail-oriented approach and commitment to confidentiality
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled school days
Main Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students on IEPs
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation to meet district and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing evaluation results and providing recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service professionals to develop, review, and revise IEPs
- Engage in regular communication with staff and families regarding student progress and needs
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support students academic and social-emotional growth
